Jason Miller - Pitching Instruction, Strength, Speed, Agility, and Conditioning Trainer

Jason played High School baseball for Sarasota High. After a stellar High School career Jason was drafted in the 2000 baseball draft in the 4th round by the Minnesota Twins. He played 9 seasons with the Minnesota Twins organization making his Major League debut in 2007 for the same team. Jason has won many baseball accomplishments in his career but his election to the Eastern league Double-A All-Star team in 2005 as one he covets. Most recently, Jason was the varsity pitching coach for our local Riverview High School baseball team and we are very lucky that Jason is taking a break from professional baseball to give his talents to Extra Innings here in Sarasota.

Mike Morgan - HITTING AND FIELDING INSTRUCTOR

LONG TIME FASTPITCH SOFTBALL COACH, MIKE MORGAN HAS BEEN ADDED TO THE EXTRA INNINGS STAFF AS AN INSTRUCTOR. MIKE BRINGS TWENTY THREE YEARS OF EXPERIENCE ALONG WITH EIGHTEEN YEARS ON THE EIGHTEEN U GOLD LEVEL DIVISION. IN ADDITION HE SPENT TWELVE YEARS AS A HIGH SCHOOL COACH TAKING A COMMUNITY SCHOOL IN NAPLES TO FOUR FINAL FOURS AND WINNING ONE STATE CHAMPIONSHIP. BEFORE JOINING FORCES WITH EXTRA INNINGS HE OWNED NEXT STEP TRAINING ACADEMY IN VENICE, FL.

Mikaela "Misha" Dworken - Catching, Hitting, Strength, Speed and Agility

Misha helped or Sarasota Sailors win the state championship as a High School senior in 1996. After High School, Misha was a 2nd team All-American in 1998 and was given the honor of Junior College Southeast player of the year. Misha went on to play in the NAIA and made the 1st team All-American team in that league. In 2001, He signed a free agent contract with the Houston Astros and went on to play 2002 through 2008 in professional baseball earning a nod in the Independent Leage as an All-Star of the Northeast league in 2002. Misha has spent a few years coaching and instructing at the Pier 40 Baseball Academy in New York and most recently has been helping his former High School baseball program as coach for the junior varsity Sailors.

Joe Ayrault - Catching and HittingInstructor and Current Head Manager of the Pioneer League Brewers

Joe graduated from Sarasota High School in 1990 and was a member of the 1989 Sailors National Championship team. Joe was drafted by the Atlanta Braves in the 5th round of the Major league draft and played 8 seasons in the minor leagues then made his Major league debut on September 1st 1996. Joe coached 3 years with the Texas Rangers organization as a hitting coach, 6 years with the Cincinatti Reds organization as a hitting coach and manager of our Sarasota Reds and is currently with the Milwaukee Brewers.

BRANDI NEAL - Extra Innings Instructor

Brandi comes to Extra Innings as a local Sarasota girl who played softball at Riverview High School and then went on to play at the State College of Florida. Brandi has an incredible amount of knowledge of the game and we’re very excited to have her part of our staff.

DAVE PIKE - Extra Innings Instructor

Dave Pike is a great new addition to our Extra Innings staff. He is a right handed pitcher who graduated from Riverview High School, a local high school here in Sarasota, FL, in 1990 and was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates that same year. He played with the Pirates from 1990-1991 and then was traded to the Atlanta Braves in 1992, the Milwaukee Brewers in 1993, and finally the Texas Rangers in 1994. He is an all-around great guy and truly adores the sport of baseball. Our customers enjoy his company and knowledge as he gives lessons to both young and older players.
